Vinicunca - Rainbow Mountain

Viajamos en familia durante la temporada baja y la excursión a Vinicunca salió redonda. El paisaje parece pintado: cerros de colores, la inmensidad de los Andes y, si todavía quedan piernas, el desvío al Valle Rojo vale muchísimo la pena. Al reservar, respondieron por WhatsApp en pocos minutos y nos avisaron que lleváramos guantes porque había helada; dato clave, no exageraban. El guía fue paciente con los más chicos y hasta esperó al tío, que subía a velocidad de caracol turístico.

Traveling with my teenage daughter, I was especially grateful for how easy this excursion felt from the start. During booking, the Best Machu Picchu team replied quickly on WhatsApp and confirmed our hotel pickup after checking that our address was inside the service area. The minivan was clean, warm, and surprisingly comfortable for the early drive; there was enough legroom, and our guide even offered coca tea before the uphill walk. The trip to Vinicunca was long, but regular stops made it manageable. Everything ran on time, and the staff stayed attentive without rushing us. We came back tired, happy, and impressed.

Eu e minha esposa fizemos a excursão a Vinicunca durante as férias de verão e ficamos muito satisfeitos. A van chegou às 4h30 em ponto, como combinado, e o guia foi organizado desde o início. Além da Montanha das 7 Cores, visitamos o Vale Vermelho, paramos para fotos com lhamas e tivemos café da manhã e almoço incluídos. O guia ainda levou folhas de coca para ajudar na altitude. Tudo correu sem pressa e com horários bem controlados.

Für unsere Flitterwochen im peruanischen Sommer war die Vinicunca-Tour ein echtes Highlight. Die Gruppe blieb mit zwölf Personen angenehm klein, dadurch war die Stimmung locker und niemand verlor sich auf dem Aufstieg. Unser Guide Diego wartete geduldig an den steilen Stellen und erklärte die Farben verständlich. Für den Preis waren Abholung, Frühstück und Mittagessen erstaunlich gut organisiert – ein sehr faires Gesamtpaket.

Partis en famille hors saison, on s’attendait à un troupeau : nous étions seulement huit, donc ambiance détendue, presque comme une balade entre copains. Notre guide, Diego, connaissait vraiment Vinicunca : il nous a montré une petite ligne de soufre jaune près du col et expliqué pourquoi les couleurs changent selon la lumière. Il a aussi réglé le rythme sans nous presser. Magnifique, et zéro cohue !
